Most children start between ages 5 and 7, once they're comfortable with basic counting. We assess each child individually before placing them in a batch, so slightly older beginners are welcome too.

Abacus uses a physical counting frame to build mental calculation ability, and is best started young (age 5-7). Vedic Maths teaches shortcut techniques for multiplication, division, squares and percentages, layered on top of what a child already learns in school — it typically suits children aged 8 and above. Many students take Abacus first and move to Vedic Maths as they grow.
